Ho - Ho-Ho!

I saw this card on the display board at Convention.  Isn't it cute?  The stamp set that was used is the new Ronald McDonald House set, Tag It.  When you buy this stamp set, Stampin' Up! will donate $3 to Ronald McDonald House Charities. Since Stampin' Up! started this program 10 years ago, over $1 Million dollars has been donated!

My Husband Made a SWAP Card!

Not only did my husband come with me to Convention, he went to all of his classes and swapped!  He designed a card on My Digital Studio and added some natural trim ribbon and edged the front of the card!

Back from Convention!

Good times!  Convention 2013 is over....here are some highlights followed by a photo of one of my swaps!

Susan, Julie (our daughter) and Al

This was a milestone year for me...10 years as a demonstrator; career sales of $200,000; earned the weekend getaway to San Diego.....so my sweetheart of a husband came with me this year and fully participated - even wearing the green sparkly hat!!!

It really is fun being a demonstrator with my daughter!  We've had a lot of fun together!

Some of my downline were able to attend with me this year as well - so fun!

I made altered notebooks as convention gifts this year, featuring the new new Chevron Punch.

For this swap, I used the Painter's Tape Technique.

Supplies included: Whisper White, Basic Black, Blushing Bride and Soft Sky; Soft Sky, Blushing Bride, Pistachio Pudding & Black Stazon Inks; Serene Silhouettes & Fabulous Florets; Ribbon Border Punch: Pistachio Pudding Ruffled Stretch Ribbon

The new Mr. & Mrs. Pugh!

We are home between trips - the wedding in Tampa was great! Along with making the wedding invitations, I made the table numbers and the tags for the table favors.  Everyone received a bag of Moose Munch.

Tomorrow we are off to Salt Lake City for Stampin' Up!'s Convention!  Woo-Hoo!

Meet Eloisa!

After a rough couple of months I am back in the swing of things!  I have been a stamping fool these past couple of weeks!  I have lots to share!  A new grand niece, another niece getting married this weekend, and our upcoming Stampin' Up! Convention in Salt Lake City!

Where to start.....how about meeting our new grand-niece Eloisa?  She was born on June 7, weighing in at 6 lbs, 7 oz.  Nina had to have a c/section since Eloisa was breech so she didn't get to see or hold her for a couple of hours.  Fortunately, she was brought out to her Daddy after making sure she was all right.  She is less than 20 minutes old and even though I have been around births for 30 years, I am always amazed and touched.  As soon as Luis started talking to her, she looked straight at him!

Well, since Father's Day was around the corner, I thought it would be nice if Eloisa gave her Daddy a card.  I thought I would whip up a quick card and sneak it to Nina...this card took on a life of it's own but it is pretty darn cute if I do say so myself!
