Aimee Slocum Box

What do you get for a 92 year old woman who loves to send hand made cards?  How about a beautiful box to keep them in.  And give her refills!  My daughter Aimee made my mother this beautiful box for Christmas.  Mom absolutely loved it, and the cards inside the box.  

Unfortunately Mom passed away on December 27.  She had been ill, and her passing was peaceful.  She had a nice Christmas with all three of her kids, and the next night had the dinner she wanted (including a martini) and watched one of her favorite TV shows.

Stampin' Up! Still Scenes

This is such a fun suite of products.  There are several things you can do with the stamps and dies or you can bring in stamps from other sets such as one of the snowmen or trees and a deer.  

I embossed the globe's base with Copper Embossing Powder on Crumb Cake and used the copper ribbon for a bow.  I love the snowflake embellishments in the Shaker Domes. I can't wait to make more!!

Stampin' Up! Most Wonderful Time 3-D

It may be hard to see the dimension on this tree.  Angie stamped three trees from the Most Wonderful Time Product Medley in Old Olive and die cut them.  She glued one tree on the card.  She folded the other two in half and glued one half of the tree to the back of another tree and repeated it on the other side.  A fun little technique to add some dimension to your card!

Stampin' Up! Magnolia Lane Wall hanging

One of my very dearest friend and her husband are moving to Arizona.  We don't get to see each other very often but we've known each other for 20 + years and have been through a lot together!  I wanted to give her and her husband something special.  I pulled out the Magnolia Lane Suite and made them this framed piece for their new home.
