Stampin' Up! Joyous Noel

I really like this card layout.  One of my team members, Nancy Brown, gave me a card with this sketch.  I changed up the colors, stamp set and designer series paper and came up with this card.  

Since the holiday season really starts with Thanksgiving, I want to make some cards that can be used for the entire season, including Christmas, Hanukkah or Kwanzaa.  I think this card works.  What do you think?

Stampin' Up! Frosted Floral Suite

I recently promoted to the title of Gold Elite.  Shannon West, our Demonstrator District Manager (DDM), sent me this beautiful card.  Shannon attended one of our local events in Champaign, IL so I was able to spend some time with her.  She is so sweet!  I look forward to working with her!

She used the Frosted Floral Specialty Designer Series Paper - every sheet shimmers!!  I am really loving the Braided Linen Trim.  It adds just the right touch!  Thanks, Shannon!

Stampin' Up! Tranquil Textures

Even though the Tranquil Texture Suite is so nautical, I wanted to try to make something that wasn't. I think I was pretty successful!

I wanted something different for the center of the flower so I put a little
multi-purpose liquid glue in the center and sprinkled on some of the Tranquil Textured Sprinkles.  Just a word of caution, put the card in a tray or something to contain the beads.  These little suckers will slide and roll everywhere!

Stampin' Up! Star of Light

This is the other Christmas card my mother made while we were in Alaska.  It's hard to see but there are stars stamped in Night of Navy on the Night of Navy card stock.  The greeting is embossed in silver and the big star is die cut from Silver Glimmer Paper.  

A photo just doesn't do justice to this card.  It is so pretty in person!

Now I know where I get my love of all things sparkly!

Stampin' Up! Dashing Along Designer Series Paper

These are so fun to make and so fun to give as a gift!  One piece of 12 x 12 designer series paper is all it takes.  It can be filled with all sorts of fun things.   There are so many cute designer series paper packs to fit any and all seasons.

They are so easy to make - score your paper at 4" and 8", turn the paper 90 degrees and score again at 4" and 8".  Now score the corner squares diagonally from the corner to the first score line. All four corners are folded in (valley fold) towards the center.  Punch a hole at each corner so when you fold them, the holes meet up.  Embellish as desired.
