Stampin' Up! Botanical Bliss

My daughter, Julie, designed this card and sent it to me.  I love the soft, vintagey feel of this card.  The gold foil touches, embossed greeting, and the stitched label die add elegance.  This card can be used for so many occasions - showers, weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, retirements and probably more I haven't thought of!

Stampin' Up! Stitched Labels

When our Pastor visits parishioners either at home or in the hospital, he often gives out a small Care Blanket made by our Parish Crafters.  He was looking for some kind of tag to put on it.  This is what I came up with.

The blankets are off-white with a gold applique of a cross on it.  I used Very Vanilla cardstock on a Gold Foil Label and topped it off with a the bow.

Stampin' Up Team Swap

This month is a swap month for my team, Susan's Sparklers.  For those of you who don't know what a swap is, everyone makes x number of cards of one design and we swap with other crafters, or in this case, demonstrators.  Why do we swap if we all make cards?  I swap to get ideas from other stampers.  We all have our own style and it's nice to see what other people are working on.  We all like to learn from each other.
