Plaid Technique

I wish I could say that I came up with this great technique, but the credit goes to demonstrator Dawn Olshefske (www.dostamping.typepad.com). It's so easy! You will need a solid image stamp and 3 colors of ink (light, medium and dark).
  • Ink your stamp with the lightest color.
  • Holding the medium color ink pad at about a 30 degree angle, touch the edge of the ink pad to the stamp every 1/4 inch or so.
  • Turn your stamp 90 degrees. Repeat the second step with the darkest color ink
  • Stamp image on cardstock
It may take a little practice to get the feel of it but once you do, it's lots of fun! Enjoy!
