Stampin' Up Rooted in Nature Thinking of You
I love the design element on this card. How unusual to have an image of a slice of tree to work with. I used Soft Suede and stamped off 3 times before stamping, then sponged the same color ink along the edge. The greeting and one set of leaves is embossed in copper, the other set I used the Mint Macaron. I finished it off using a strip of the burlap which I think coordinates perfectly.

Stampin' Up Peaceful Place
I made this card for my son-in-law's birthday. Peaceful Place is perfect for him. He loves the outdoors - fishing, hunting, hiking. As soon as I saw this stamp set, I thought of him. I used watercolor pencils and blender pens to color it in. Hope you had a great day, Jim!

Stampin' Up! Impossible Card
This is a fun card to make. It only uses 1/4 of a sheet of cardstock. There are a lot of videos out there on this technique and it is easier than it looks! I used Stampin' Blends to color the flowers. Good News! The original colors (minus Pink Pirouette which is a retiring color) are now available to order! The new colors will be available in just a few weeks.

Stampin' Up! Manly Moments Paper Pumpkin
We have several high school graduations this year. It's always fun to catch up with family that we haven't seen in awhile (well...we do keep up with each other on Facebook for the most part!)
I know I've mentioned my struggle with masculine cards in the past and was dreading coming up with something. But Paper Pumpkin saved the day! June's kit is titled Manly Moments and is perfect for this project. There wasn't a graduation greeting so pulled out Sunshine Sayings. Bam! Done!

Stampin' Up! Stamparatus Embossing Technique
One of the techniques I demonstrated at my recent New Catalog Open House was how you can emboss in any color using the Stamparatus. First stamp your image(s) in the color you want, clean the ink off the stamp (Make sure the stamp is dry) then re-ink the image with Versamark, pour on clear embossing powder, heat set it and voila - your image is embossed!
