Stampin' Up! Tropical Chic
I love this background technique! My daughter, Aimee was over and shared it with me. I usually use sponges or daubers but she brought along some makeup brushes. The heads are oval and the heads are tightly packed. The blending was so smooth! You can make the background as light or dark as you like. I decided to stamp images from Tropical Chic in Black Memento. I couldn't decide which card base to use so I made one for each color.

Stampin' Up! Flowering Foils Speciality DSP
One of the offerings in the Second Release Sale-A-Bration is this gorgeous designer series paper, embossed in silver AND copper. Oooh...Ahhhh...
Use a brayer, sponges or daubers, or watercolor or leave it plain. I used Calypso Coral, Crushed Curry and Pear Pizzazz for color, added some splatter (Crushed Curry) and punched a Calypso Coral Braided piece.

Stampin' Up! Music From the Heart
I participated in a SWAP for the new January - June 2020 Mini Catalog from Stampin' Up! My daughter Aimee was over for a visit and she showed me this background technique. I ooh-ed and ahh-ed and came up with this card design. Wonderful daughter that she is, she did all of the backgrounds for me. Thanks, Aimee!
If you love music, or have any musicians in your life, Music From the Heart is a great set! I have some grandkids who play in Marching Band, Jazz Band and Orchestra. I think I will be getting a lot of use out of this set!
