Stampin' Up! Honeybee Home

This or That?  I can't decide which version I like better.  We featured the Honeybee Home bundle on our Sunday Stamping With Susan & Julie a couple of weeks ago.  This stamp set and dies are in the new Annual Catalog but the Designer Series Paper and Bumblebee trinkets are retiring.  Leave me a comment and let me know!

Stampin' Up! Artistic Dies

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary last week.  Our daughter, Aimee, who is also a demonstrator, made us this card. She got her inspiration from another demonstrator, Cindy Brumbaugh. It is absolutely gorgeous and this photo does not do it justice at all.  She used Thick Basic White cardstock and die cut four images of the flowers and leaves.  She put some Adhesive Sheets on all of them so she could create thicker images and then adhere it to the new Brushstroke Specialty Paper (item #159250 in the new Annual Catalog).

I posted the envelope as well.  Aimee is such a phenomenal artist!  Sue used the Butterflies & Flowers Mask from the current January - June Mini Catalog as a stencil.  She recreated both postage stamps!  It is fabulous!  The smaller pink flower is Sweet Sorbet, #159216, (one of the new In Colors).

Stampin' Up! Tulip Fields Bundle

I have admit it, I was a bit intimidated by this stamp set.  But honestly, it's pretty easy.  I started with the horizon stamp, which are the two fields under the sky.  Then I started stamping the wedge pieces in different colors. That was it!  I used a Blending Brush and Balmy Blue ink o create a very light blue sky, and attached the clouds with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.  I stamped the windmill and colored them in with some Natural Tones Stampin' Blends, die cut it and popped it up with Stampin' Dimensionals.
