Stampin' Up! Under My Umbrella

Last Chance!  Today is the final day to purchase Product Coordination Release items!

Under My Umbrella from the January - June Mini Catalog is such a cute set!  And using the Pleased as Punch Designer Series Paper (available until March 31 with it is so much fun!  I just love how this card came together.

Even though the calendar says it is Spring, we are still seeing temperatures in the 30's and it snowed yesterday....at least here in southeast  Michigan....

And even though most of us are all having to stay at home for a few weeks,  we can certainly bring some light and hope into our world by crafting.  If you are home with your kids you can all have some creative fun.

Stay safe, wash your hands.  This too shall pass.

Stampin' Up! Tasteful Textures

There is a stamp set in the Annual Catalog called Tasteful Textures.  The images and greetings can give you so many options.  Angie stamped the flower images to create the background.  She also used Stampin' Blends to color in the Gray Granite Ribbon to match the Mint Macaron Textile Ribbon.

Don't overlook this gem of a stamp set!

Stampin' Up! Dandelion Wishes

As this current Annual Catalog gets closer to retiring, I thought it would be fun to bring some things out to use.  The background on this card is made with Pigment Sprinkles.  A little goes along way!  The box holds 6 small jars with the following colors:
  • Bermuda Bay
  • Daffodil Delight
  • Granny Apple Green
  • Gorgeous Grape
  • Mango Melody
  • Melon Mambo
For this card, I used a piece of watercolor paper.  Using an Aqua Painter, I covered it with water, then sprinkled just a wee bit of Bermuda Bay on the top and moved it around with the wet Aqua Painter.  I cleaned the brush and added just a wee bit of Granny Apple Green to the bottom and moved it around.

You can let it dry or use the Heat Tool to dry it.  After it dried I embossed the dandelions with the Shimmer Black embossing powder.   I embossed the greeting with Black Embossing powder.  I think the Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon compliments the sparkly dandelions perfectly!

Look closely for the gold gems and the Terracotta Tile ribbon.  The Old Olive borders on the top and bottom of the Designer Series Paper and the Whisper White flowers are from the coordinating Dies..
