Stampin' Up! Joy & Love

I was inspired by a card in the annual catalog using the Sheet Music Stamp as a background for a Christmas card. (Yep, I am starting to think about Holiday Card Classes).  There are so many great ideas to CASE (Cope And Share Everything)in the catalog.  You can change it up or make the card as shown.

This just may have to be my Christmas card this year....

Stampin' Up Tea Room Twisty Gate Fold

I like making cards with different folds and ones that have some movement.  This card has both - a fun gate fold with a twist!  It's easier than it looks!

My daughter, Julie Davison shared this one with me.  Check out her video tutorial and samples.  to learn how to make this card and see more ideas.

Stampin' Up Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper

This DSP is a versatile collection of  flower designs.  While some sheets are all flowers, some sheets have designs meant to be cut out, such as this square.  The other side of all the sheets are a marbled and coordinate with the flower images.  I will be posting additional projects with this paper over the next week or so.

The die cut flower is from the Botanical Tags Thinlit dies.

Stampin' Up! Nature's Poem Suite

Nature's Poem is such a wonderful suite of product.  The stamp set consists of sixteen stamps and the framelit dies cut out twelve images! In addition to the beautiful designer series paper, there is a pack of 4 different colors of twine and some Leaves Trinkets for embellishing your projects.

I wanted to do a fold I hadn't done in a while and thought the tree image was the perfect one to use.  To get this cut I took and folded 4 1/4" x 11" card folded in half.  Then took the top flap and folded that one in half again, laid my tree framelit in the middle of the fold then laid it on my big shot platform with the top clear plate only up to the fold line.

The colors and images are versatile for masculine and feminine cards.  It doesn't get much better than that!

Stampin' Up! Hello Baseball Friend

We are huge Detroit Tiger Baseball fans.  My husband collects Tiger memorabilia.  We had plaster molds made of his hand to display baseballs.  But I digress...

I have a friend at Stampin' Up! who is also a huge Tiger's fan (yep, all the way out in Utah!).  Every once in awhile, I send him a little something to decorate his cubicle.  I made this card to send along with it.  We don't have any baseball themed stamps so created the baseball stitching with a Stampin' Write Marker.

Go Tigers!
