...Then Comes Nina Pushing a Baby Carriage!

OK...so yesterday I posted my niece Nadia's wedding invitation.  The bride's sister, Nina is having a baby this June.  Here is her baby shower invitation using one of the single stamps (going away at the end of this month, by the way!).  The umbrella is from the stamp set Rain or Shine.  The card base and scalloped edges are Pink Pirouette, the middle layer and ink are Melon Mambo.  The image is stamped on Whisper White card stock.

First Comes Love, Then Comes Marriage....

My niece is being married this coming July and she asked me to make her wedding invitations.  This is the design she and her fiancee chose.  Flowering Flourishes were stamped in Always Artichoke on Very Vanilla and the color of the ink is Early Espresso.  You can't see it but the vines were stamped in Illuminate over the writing on the invitation itself.  It really added  to the over all look!  They didn't want a traditional RSVP card and have a web site set up for the big day.  Guests can RSVP on-line.  They also put their phone numbers for those who don't use a computer.  In today's "techno" world, this does make sense!

I'm No Longer a Virgin....

...I have used clear stamps for the first time!  Yep!  Stampin' Up! is offering a trial of photopolymer stamps!  This first stamp set is called Designer Type Photopolymer Stamp Set (Order #132956).  It sells for $13.95 and has 57 (yes - 57!) pieces!  Because this is a trial, there may be limited quantities.  So if you are interested in this set, log on to my web site to order!  Or send me an e-mail!

Secret Garden

I saw this card at Leadership and thought liked the technique on the flowers.  They are embossed with white embossing powder, then "washed" with Tangerine Tango and an Aquapainter.  After it dried, I added some darker tones of Tangerine Tango before die cutting them with the framelits.  I played around with the Apothecary Accents for the bottom edge of the Whisper White piece.

Kudos to...ME!

In January I reached a career milestone in sales - $200,000! In addition to a very nice cash bonus from Stampin' Up!, I received a hand stamped (what else?) card from our COO, Rich Jutkins.  I love the card he sent and thought I would share it with you!

Butterflies are Free!

Do you remember the movie "Butterflies are Free?" I know that question dates me but it was a good movie! I thought about that movie when I was making this card.

Supplies: Midnight Muse, Summer Starfruit, Whisper White, Tangerine Tango card stock; Midnight Muse, Summer Starfruit & Tangerine Tango Classic Ink, Sycamore Street DSP, Bloomin' Marvelous Stamp set, rhinestones, Polka Dot Embossing Folder, Scallop Oval, Large Oval, 1 3/8" and 1 1/4" Square Punches.

As Sale-A-Bration 2013 comes to an end next week, I thought I would post at least one project using Sale-A-Bration stuff.  I am going to be doing a Call-A-Thon next week - calling my customers to see if you want to place a Sale-A-Bration order and get FREE product!  Everyone who orders will be put into a drawing for a bag of unused but retired product!  If you contact me with an order before next Tuesday, March 19, you will recieve a gift from me - a set of 3 x 3 cards with a small stamp and an ink spot!

Another Use For Lace Tape

Don't you love all of the accessories and embellishments in the Spring Catalog?  At Leadership in January, Shelli shared using the Lace Tape (#130966) as a stencil.  And if you're careful, you can remove the tape after sponging ink and re-use it!  The above card was a Hostess Club project and all 13 Club members used the same piece!

Supplies Used: Early Espresso, Primrose Petals, Certainly Celery & Whisper White card stock; Early Espresso, Primrose Petals and Certainly Celery Classic Ink; Lace Tape; Early Espresso 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon; Creative Elements and Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp sets, Large Rhinestone Jewels (#129324)

I stamped the flower image three times and layered the 2 smaller layers with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Welcome to my renovated Blog!

Finally...after months of playing around with different blog headers, I took a deep breath and got on My Digital Studio2 Plus and designed a few headers.  It took a bit to get it to fit but I am happy with it!  I would love your feedback!

I've been busy stamping and wanted to share one of my hostess club projects with you.  This card features one of our single stamps - I'm really tired of cold weather and wanted a project to warm me up!

The Daffodil block was created by actually inking up an acrylic block and stamping it on Whisper White card stock.  I sponged a little Tangerine Tango on the edges and them embossed the image with Tangerine Tango embossing powder.  The ribbon is one of the Sale-A-Bration ribbons and the zig-zags on the strips of Daffodil Delight was made using the new Simply Scored Borders Scoring Plat.
