Sneak Peek!

Stampin' Up! is giving all of us a sneak peek of a stamp set (Four Frames) and Designer Series Paper (Paisley Petals) that will be in the Idea Book & Catalog that will begin in July. I pre-ordered them and have been playing with them a bit so I thought I would share.

Customers can order them during the month of April in a purchase of $20 or more. Hostesses can get them FREE with a workshop of $350 or more!

Savoring Chocolate & Friends....

...is the theme of an upcoming Woman's Retreat at one of the churches in our cluster. So what better to give everyone some chocolate to nibble on throughout the day! One of the other planning committee members came over the other day to help me make these. We made 26 boxes using the Bitty Box & Envelope Sizzix Die (item #115967) and 26 bags and toppers (die cut with the Top Note die, item #113463). We stamped the greeting for both the box and the bag on Very Vanilla card stock with Early Espresso Classic Ink and the Eat Chocolate stamp set from the Occasions Mini, then punched out with the 1 3/4" circle punch. These were adhered to coordinating card stock punched with the 2 3/8" Scallop Circle punch.

Spring Basket

This was a project we made at Hostess Club last month. I wanted to make sure it was sturdy enough to be used for treats.

Directions:
1. Using the Baskets & Blooms Sixxiz Die, cut both basket pieces out of designer series paper.
2. Trim off the perforated edge on both pieces.
3. Trim just enough off of the bottom of each piece so that they are straight.
4. Score an 8" x 3.5" piece of coordinating card stock at 2.5" and 5.5".
Turn and score at 1" and 2.5"
5. Cut at the 2.5" and 5.5" up to the long score line on both sides of the card stock.
Fold along all score lines.
6. Place Sticky Strip along all of the edges of the box. Fold up the sides and adhere the basket pieces to box.
7. Embellish as desired.

I Love Flowers!

I am so looking forward to warmer weather and all the beautiful flowers that will be blooming! I thought it would be fun to bring some flowers into bloom now so we made these magnets last night at Hostess Club! The Magnet Sheets (Item # 119816) were die cut with designer series paper using the new Fun Flowers L Bigz Die (Item #121812) from the Occasions Mini. Embellish them any way you like!
