I Love Sparkle
I am all about sparkle.   One of my fellow demonstrators,  Mary Ellen Stites, designed this card for our Holiday swap.  While black is not always the most traditional Christmas color, I think Stampin' Up did a great job of using it in the Merry Little Christmas Suite.  I love all the layers and well, the sparkle!

Improving With Age
Today's card has been such a huge hit!  I ended up using it for my Holiday Catalog Card Swap, my team meeting and also my Hostess Club.  I usually don't use a card that much but it had rave reviews. I originally bought the Half Full stamp set to use for my husband Al, and this was the first design that popped in my head.

You Make Me Happy
This pig is just the cutest little pig ever!  He (or she) is from the stamp set This Little Piggy. He (or she) makes any card a happy card.   I also used the Petal Burst Embossing Folder which goes with his little flower.  How perfect was that?

Shower Of Cards
Just thought I would post a reminder about our quest to have my mom, Gloria. who turns 90 years young on October 7th, receive 90 cards. Here is the card my assistant Angela is sending to her. I thought it was nice how she stamped the greeting, she just colored the stamp with the Fresh Fig, Sweet Sugarplum, Rich Razzleberry, and Perfect Plum markers gave a little huff on it and stamped it. She finished it off with some rhinestones because she knows my mother loves the bling. Thank you in advance for making my moms birthday a happy day for her!
I really need to get busy and design a card for her my self!

Happy Anniversary

For the past couple years, I have designed and made anniversary cards for the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (aka the IHM's).  Every year they celebrate milestone anniversaries.   As soon as I saw the Delightful Daisy designer series paper I knew exactly what I wanted to do. I cut the flowers out and popped them up.

Great Friend Video Tutorial

I think I have mentioned a time to two (wink, smile) that I love stacked collage cards!   I used the Embossing paste to add some really fun texture.  If you haven't tried it yet come on over and I would be happy to show you how to to use it. There are so many fun things to do with it add some ink refill and have any color you need; use with or without stencils; add glitter. There are so many possibilities!

Good Friends

One of my very dearest friends, Nancy Brown, lives across the state from me.  We've known each other a long time and have been through a lot together.  We don't get to see each other very often but when we do, it's like we haven't been apart.  Nancy also happens to be on my team.  She sent me this card a week or so ago.  I feel very blessed that she is in my life!  She is very talented and I always love it when she gives or sends me a card.  We will be spending next weekend together at a stamping retreat.  I can't wait!

Happy Birthday Thomas
Our September birthdays continue.  Our grandson,Thomas, turns 14 today - I just don't know where the time has gone.  He is, of course, taller than me now.  I thought I would keep his card pretty simple and stick with circles. It is really hard for me to NOT put ribbons and bling on a card.  I embossed different Happy Birthdays on the circles.  It's hard to see it on the Daffodil Delight circle but it's there!

Halloween Box!
This image in the Spooky Night dsp is a perfect size for a card or the mini Pizza boxes.  There is also a few images that fit perfectly on it for example the owl or cat stamp from Spooky cat stamp set, also the cat punch.

Christmas Gift Box
I use a lot of gift boxes and gift card holders at Christmas time.  When I saw these cute little Pizza Boxes I felt as if I discovered gold!  They are perfect for baked items or 3-d items.  The ribbons and accessories in the holiday catalog are great for putting the finishing touches on your gifts. These little boxes, along with all of the designer series papers and embellishments make it so easy to create a beautiful gift.

This card was cased from the Holiday Catalog with a few changes..  The catalog has so many great project ideas! The new Champagne foil sheets add so much elegance to a card. I just love this project.
