Stampin' Up! Botanical Butterfly Layering Fold Card

I received a card using this Layering Fold technique as a swap several months ago.  I don't remember who the demonstrator was but I tucked it away in my "to do" pile.  In preparing for a fun fold class, I brought it out and came up with this version using the Botanical Butterfly paper from Sale-A-Bration.   

Here are the measurements:

Layering Fold Card

Card Base – 4 ¼’ X 11

            Score at 2 ½”, 3 ¾”, 6 ¾”, 8 ¼”

Cardstock mat – 4” x 4” (two)

DSP – 3 ¾” x 3 ¾” (two)

Bottom of card – 4” x 2 ¼”

Stampin' Up! Rooted in Nature

I made this card to give to our pastor on the 30th Anniversary of his Ordination.  I cased this card from page 142 in the Annual Catalog.  I used the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper as a mat between the tree and the card base.  

I did a wash for the ground and the sky and stamped the tree and the greeting after the wash dried. Clean and simple.

Stampin' Up! Storage Coming April 1

I am so excited about our new stackable Storage units!  They hold our Ink Pads, Stampin' Write Markers, Stampin' Blends, and Ink Refills.  There's even an open storage cube for odds and ends.

Stampin' Up! Sweet Cups Easter Basket

As soon as I opened up the box of Sweet Cups, I saw an Easter Basket.  I just love how this turned out!  I used the Basket Weave Embossing Folder with So Saffron cardstock.  I used strips of Pool Party and Powder Pink to create the handle.

Fill it up with your favorite Easter treats and give it to your favorite little bunny...or bunnies....
