Paper Pumpkin

I love the October Paper Pumpkin Kit.  This is absolutely one of my favorites!  I can't wait for the November kit that coordinates with this kit.  It's easy to join - log onto my paper pumpkin to join the fun!  If you are new to paper crafting, this is the perfect way to get started.  All of the kits come with everything you need to make the projects, including an instruction sheet.  Need a gift for the stamper in your life?  These make perfect Christmas gifts!

This card is so pretty!  Everybody I have given it to has just loved it.  The ruffled embossing folder adds texture and the Champagne Foil Sheets and shimmer ribbon adds elegance.  It's perfect for the girly-girl in your life.

Copy And Share Everything aka C.A.S.E.

One of the things I frequently hear from customers is that they don't feel they are very creative and could never come up with their own designs.  If you love stamping you don't have to come up with original ideas at all.  Just find a project you like and copy it!  Our catalog is more than a store, it's an idea book as well.  Stampin' Up!'s tag line is Inspire. Today's card is from page 112-113 in the Annual Catalog, Merry Mistletoe. I changed it up a bit and added the deer but the basic card design with the hills of snow came from the card on the top of the little step stool on page 112.

Guest Artist Aimee Slocum

Our youngest daughter, Aimee, recently signed up to become a demonstrator.  She is preparing for her first Christmas card class.  She came over this weekend and worked on her class projects.  They are so cute!  I asked her to be my guest blogger this week.  Great job, Aimee - your customers are going to have a great class!  Thanks for sharing!

Happy Anniversary to me!

Today marks my 15th Anniversary as a demonstrator with Stampin' Up!  I truly never thought I would be a demonstrator this long.  My daughter, Julie Davison is my upline and we have had so much fun earning incentive trips together, attending events together and creating together over the years.
 Angie, my assistant and good friend for almost all of those 15 years came over with card, flowers, and a cake today.  My husband, Al is my supporting demonstrator and deserves sharing this anniversary with me.  Thank you Angie.
So how am I spending my day today?  Stamping, of course!

Bridge Card

  I think this card style has been around but it is new to me. It is so easy,  I just love it.  As promised in the video tutorial, here are the measurements and score lines:

• Card Base - 8 1/4" x 4 1/4"
• Bridge Piece - 5 1/2" x 1 1/4"
• Inside Piece - 4" x 2 1/4"
• Score card base at 1 3/8", 2 3/4", 5 1/2" & 6 7/8".
