True Gentleman Guest Artist Barb Hopper and Michelle Grimble

I always struggle with masculine cards.  I was thrilled when I saw the True Gentleman Suite in the Occasion's catalog.  I love the colors and the images.  Both Barb and Michelle used the suite for their swap cards for our January meeting.  I love the fold on Barb's card it is so different.

Guest Artist Freddie Boger & Michelle Grimble

Here are two more swaps from our January Team meeting.  I love how Michelle cut out the bow from a sheet of the Picture Perfect Party 6 x 6 designer series paper and popped it up on the card.

Freddie used a heart for the balloon on Party Panda - great for birthdays or Valentine's Day!

Fruit Basket

This is the second make and take from my recent Open House.  It is made using the Tutti-Frutti Suite.  I just stamped and punched out the cute little strawberries using the coordinating punch from the Punch Pak.  Also the strawberries that are on the designer series paper are actually embossed (I know it doesn't show up in the photo) they are so cute.

Video Tutorial on Stampin' Up! Inks

I've had a few questions about what ink to use, especially the black ink pads.  I decided to film a video that describes the different inks, when to use them and how to use them. Using different inks provides a different look and adds dimension to your projects.  My challenge to you is to explore your creativity and start playing with different inks!

Here is the link to my video on You Tube: Stamping Basics Different kind of Inks
