Stampin' Up! In the Pines

This card layout is called Dutch Door.  I hadn't made this for a long time so it was fun making it again.  

• Card Base is 8 3/4" x 4 1/4", score at 3 1/4"
• Door piece is 8 1/2" x 2 1/4", scored at 2 1/8" on both sides.  Adhere this piece to the back of the card.  
• Front greeting piece - Whisper White is 3 3/4" x 2 1/2".  It is matted on a piece of coordinating cardstock that is 4" x 2 3/4"

Finish as desired.

Stampin' Up! Wrapped in Plaid

I received this swap card from Margo Richardson,  a demonstrator and good friend.  I love the fold on this card.  The frame around the greeting is from the Ornate Frames dies and the embossing folder is from the Halloween suite.  I love how products from different suites work together.

Stampin' Up! Brightly Gleaming

These elegant ornaments are from the new Christmas Gleaming Stamp Set.  I love the copper accents in the Brightly Gleaming designer series paper. The "strings" the ornaments are hanging from is a line of Bronze Stampin' Blend with Wink of Stella over it to give it the look of copper.  It's hard to see but there is a rhinestone gem  - also colored with the Bronze Stampin' Blend - on the top of each ornament.

It's kind of nice to get started on Christmas cards.  Maybe, just maybe, I will have mine done before December 1!
