I used Sailing Home with a Share Sunshine greeting to make this birthday card. I am glad that the Sailing Home stamp set and dies are carrying over. Unfortunately, the designer series paper is not. So if you want it, make sure you get it before it goes away. Until we can safely gather together again, we need to be creative with celebrating on line. The Share Sunshine PDF is perfect for sending those in your life a card to let them know you are thinking about them. #sharesunshine, #stampinup
My daughter, Julie, is so creative. She designed this card and I totally cased it! The card base is a gate fold and she added another layer. I will definitely be using this card design again. In fact, we are using it for Hostess Club this month. The Come Sail Away suite brings back a lot of memories from days when I was a kid sailing on a friend's boat to my husband &n I sailing on our own boat. Good times....
Today is my brother's birthday. We grew up around sailboats so I thought I would use the Come Sail Away Memories & More cards. The card packs make it so easy to put to together. There are 56 double sided cards, plus stickers. Just imagine the possibilities! I love the High Seas 3D embossing folder to create waves. The new 3D Embossing Folder Plate really helps to enhance the embossed image. This plate is not in the catalog (yet) so scroll down to the shopping list to get the ordering information.
It's hard to tell on this card but the designer series paper, Come Sail Away is actually newspaper print. With the newsprint are photographic images of sailboats, charts, etc. The little knot in the lower right is from the coordinating dies. I love the sepia look to the paper. It works well to create this stacked collage look.
One of my favorite suites - if I haven't mentioned it (LOL) is the Come Sail Away. This card was made using the Memories & More Card Pack. Use coordinating cardstock colors or purchase the Assorted Memories and More Cards & Envelopes. This really makes card making so easy. Add an embellishment or two, or a stamped and die cut image for a little flair. You can make a whole stack of cards very quickly for any occasion!
