Stampin' Up! Silhouette Scenes

Our daughter and her husband celebrated recently their 19th Anniversary.  19 years!!  It truly just seems like yesterday.  And we are so blessed to have Jim as a son-in-law.

I will confess that the laser die cut frame is from a retired pack of designer paper.  I thought I had grabbed the current Shimmer Laser Cut Designer Series Paper.  Mea Culpa...

Stampin' Up! Enjoy Life

Our son-in-law, Josh, turns the big 4-0 next week!  He loves to ride his bike and hits the trails every chance he gets.  I love the Hammered Metal 3D Embossing folder.  I did a wash on the background with  Gray Granite and Night of Navy.  After it was thoroughly dry (overnight in this case), I embossed the image with Black Embossing Powder.

Happy Birthday, Josh!

Stampin' Up! Toile Tidings

We made this top card at our team meeting in August.  I wanted to do a Simple Stamping card with them.  I have to say, it is really hard for me to keep it simple!  I was just itching to step it up!  There were some extra cards cut so after the meeting I added a few things.  I changed the card base to Garden Green, added a layer of Gold Foil paper, embossed the greeting in gold, distressed the edges of the designer series paper, and added Gold Metallic Edged ribbon and the Glimmer Dots.

Stampin' Up! Noble Peacock

I am in awe of Peacocks. They are so graceful and majestic.  This is the first card I made with the Noble Peacock Suite.  I will definitely be making more.  Look at the plumage on this guy!

I embossed him with the new Shimmer Black Stampin' Emboss powder, then colored him with Stampin' Blends.   I know it's hard to see but I filled his tail feathers with the Noble Peacock rhinestones and used Wink of Stella on his head and body.
