Stampin' Up! Fanciful Fragrance

I participated in a card sketch challenge.  I haven't done a Shabby Chic style card in quite a while.  Tearing, sponging edges, distressing, adding texture through ribbon and layers....there is no right or wrong.

Fanciful Fragrance is a perfect stamp set with vintage images.  Add some soft colors and pearls to complete the look.

Stampin' Up! Lovely is the Day

Happy Spring!  I think Angie was experiencing "Spring Fever" when she made this card.  I can't wait to see our flowers blooming in our yard in a few months. Sponging the sky and grass and using bold, bright colors makes the flowers pop.

Stampin' Up! Tasteful Textures

There is a stamp set in the Annual Catalog called Tasteful Textures.  The images and greetings can give you so many options.  Angie stamped the flower images to create the background.  She also used Stampin' Blends to color in the Gray Granite Ribbon to match the Mint Macaron Textile Ribbon.

Don't overlook this gem of a stamp set!

Stampin' Up! Sending Flowers

Here are two more cards using the Sending Flowers Dies from the Coordination Product Release, which ends March 31.  I was surprised how versatile these dies are!  The image takes up most of the card but that is ok.  It is the focal point.  So take advantage of that.  I sure have had a lot of fun with it!

After die cutting the image in Basic Black, I masked off the moon (using a post it note and circle punch).  After sponging the sky, I used the reverse image of the circle and masked off the sky to apply just a bit of So Saffron.

The second card was die cut with Whisper White and colored with Stampin' Blends.  I added a piece of So Saffron Gingham designer series paper behind the Whisper White.
