Stampin' Up! Woven Threads

I hate this virus.  I made this sympathy card for a family from our church.  Mike passed away from Covid-19.  He will surely be missed.  R.I.P. Mike.

I prefer using clean lines for sympathy cards.  The Woven Threads suite, embossed the greeting in gold and added a few faceted gems to finish it off.  I pray that I won't have to make any more cards for Covid-19 families.

Stampin' Up! Botanical Bliss

My daughter, Julie, designed this card and sent it to me.  I love the soft, vintagey feel of this card.  The gold foil touches, embossed greeting, and the stitched label die add elegance.  This card can be used for so many occasions - showers, weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, retirements and probably more I haven't thought of!

Stampin' Up! Over the Moon Birthday

My youngest granddaughter, Anna, recently turned nine.  She loves, loves, loves the color purple.  Any shade, she just loves purple.  So of course, the card needed to be purple and the cow needed to be purple.  To break up the Purple Posy (new In Color) I used some Crumb Cake since it is in the scalloped ribbon.  I really like how it turned out!

I received a couple of other cards using the Over the Moon stamp set in a recent swap. Scroll down a bit to see them. The purple card was made by Dawn Griffin.  I don't know who made the other card.

Stampin' Up! Beautiful You Grad

I saw this idea of using Beautiful You for a graduation card somewhere on-line.   I don't know who to give credit for it but thought it was so cute!  Here is my version of it.  The tassel  was a bit tricky but I like how it turned out.  I wanted the focus to be on the the grad but wanted to add some dimension on part of the background.  I also used some Stampin' Blends for skin tones and to shade around her dress and cap.
