Stampin' Up! Bloom & Grow with Scalloped Note Cards

I raffled off the Bloom & Grow stamp set at my Catalog Launch - (Congratulations Pam Pates).  She is also receiving this little note card, using the stamp set.

Stampin' Blends blend so well.  It makes watercoloring  images so easy.  I'm excited that there are several new colors of Stampin' Blends in the new catalog - Rococo Rose, So Saffron, Pretty Peacock, Seaside Spray, Purple Posy and Gray Granite.  Check them out in my online store!

Stampin' Up! Bird Ballad & Scalloped Note Cards

My beautiful grandaughter Claire just turned 14.  She is truly amazing!  She plays softball, sings and acts in school plays, plays instruments and will be in the Marching Band and is on the Archery Team!  I'm exhausted just thinking about all that she does!

I haven't played much with the Free as a Bird stamp set or the Stitched Nested Labels Dies so I thought I would use that set for her birthday card.  I watercolored the birds with Stampin' Blends.

The Balmy Blue scalloped card and envelope works well for this image.  The Bird Ballad designer series paper doesn't have any Balmy Blue in it so I used the striped paper from Come Sail Away.  I added a layer of piece of Whisper White Flax Ribbon under the birds.

Stampin' Up! Woven Threads Suite

One of the new products available are Scalloped Note Cards and Envelopes.  They come in four different colors and are the same size as our Whisper White and Very Vanilla Note Cards.

Adhere some designer series paper, add a greeting and some embellishments, stamp the envelope and you're done!  It's hard to see but I took some of the scalloped woven trim, cut it in half and adhered it to the back of the Thinking of You piece so just the scalloped edge shows.
