Stampin' Up! Bird Ballad

I love waking up in the morning to the sound of birds chirping and singing.  A sure sign Spring is here.  I wanted a quick and easy card and this couldn't have been much easier.  The Bird Ballad Suite offers so many options.  Happy stamping, indeed!

Stampin' Up! Bird Ballad Laser-Cut Cards & Tin

Our youngest daughter and son-in-law recently celebrated their wedding anniversary. They share the day with their daughter, Maddy Grace who was born on their anniversary.  We actually have a few shared days in our family.  Josh and Aimee's son was born on my brother and sister's-in-law (twins) birthday.  Our daughter, Julie was married on my mother's birthday (she always thanks us for throwing her such a great party!)

But back to the card.... I just love these Laser Cut cards and envelopes.  You can put together an elegant card in literally minutes.   A few die cut hearts, lace ribbon and it is done.

Stampin' Up! Free as a Bird

My Mom turned 92 recently.  She loves birds so I thought I would make her a card using the Bird Ballad Suite from the Annual Catalog.  She prefers not having me write on the inside so she can send it out to one of her friends.  I love how this image fits perfectly inside the stitched die.

We are so blessed to still have her with us.  Love you, Mom!

Stampin' Up! Pressed Petals

One of my favorite embellishments in the new catalog is the Pressed Petals Specialty Washi Tape.  It's actually a role of individual petals!  I punched out a small circle and simply placed the petals in place.

The card base is from the Bird Ballad Laser Cut cards.  I love how quickly you can put a card together!  Some layered embellishments, a tag with a greeting and you have a beautiful card.

Stampin' Up! Bird Ballad Laser Cut Cards & Tin

If you like making cards to give as gifts, this beautiful tin is perfect.  It comes with 12 laser cut Very Vanilla cards and coordinating scalloped edged envelopes.  I adhered some Rococo Rose cardstock to the back of the front.  The tag was stamped with the Butterfly Wishes stamp set featuring the Distinktive style of stamps.  The little butterfly is stamped with Pretty Peacock and punched out with the new Butterfly Duet Punch.

How special would it be to receive a beautiful tin of All Occasion cards?
