Stampin' Up! Bird Ballad Laser Cut Cards & Tin

If you like making cards to give as gifts, this beautiful tin is perfect.  It comes with 12 laser cut Very Vanilla cards and coordinating scalloped edged envelopes.  I adhered some Rococo Rose cardstock to the back of the front.  The tag was stamped with the Butterfly Wishes stamp set featuring the Distinktive style of stamps.  The little butterfly is stamped with Pretty Peacock and punched out with the new Butterfly Duet Punch.

How special would it be to receive a beautiful tin of All Occasion cards?

Stampin' Up! To A Wild Rose

Meet Rococo Rose, one of our new In Colors!  I used it to stamp this rose from To A Wild Rose, a new stamp set from the new Annual Catalog. I stamped off the first layer, and stamped the second layer full strength.  What is fun with this stamp set is a line art rose in addition to the 2-step I used for this card.  So there are several techniques you can do with this stamp set.

I used a new stamp set called Woven Heirlooms for the sentiments.  I just love this vintage looking font.  Unfortunately, this is a sympathy card.  The inside greeting reads " Prayers and heartfelt sympathy are with you and your family"

Stampin' Up! Healing Hugs

I made this card for the March Simple Stamping Challenge from Stampin' Up!  In my Facebook post I mentioned that I have been needing sympathy cards lately.  Within a couple of days from that post, we received a phone call that a friend's mother passed away.  Dang.

Simple Stamping entails using only stamps, ink and paper to make a card. I love the images in the Healing Hugs stamp set.  It is one of our Distinktive images.  The technique used to make the stamps is exclusive to Stampin' Up!.   #simplestamping #stampinup

Stampin' Up! DistINKtive Healing Hugs Video Tutorial

The new DistINKtive line of stamps are fun to work with.  If you are not familiar with it, Stampin' Up!'s Design team came up with a new process for making stamps.  In fact, it is patent pending.

Check out the video at the bottom of the page to see a couple of different ways to use this stamp.  I hope you try this technique.  Play around with different color combinations.  Each flower will turn out a little bit different - just like Mother Nature.
