Stampin' Up! Painted Seasons

I can't decide which version I like better.  I cut the designer series paper on the diagonal and made two cards.  The card on the left (this) is made with a triangle of Mango Melody cardstock and the card on the right (that) uses all designer series paper on the front.

I posted these on my Team Facebook page and we were split pretty evenly over which one folks like better.  So, I'll ask all y'all - which one do you like better?  This or That?  Leave me a comment and let me know!

Stampin' Up! #Simple Stamping Video Tutorial

Stamping can be so overwhelming for new papercrafters.  I started stamping when I became a demonstrator over 16 years ago. I sure remember feeling like I didn't know where to start!  I always tell new stampers to start with the basics: Stamps. Inks. Paper. (SIP).

Stampin' Up! introduced #simplestamping to help us help new crafters.  The concept is simple.  Minimal layers, few if any embellishments, in other words - simple.  Each month, demonstrators are issued a challenge to post a brief simple stamping video.

This month our challenge was to create and post a birthday card and we can use designer series paper.  Let me know what you think!  Click on the image below to see the my #simplestamping Video Tutorial:

Stampin' Up! Sneak Peek Video from the 2019 Occasions & Sale A Brations Catalogs

One of the perks from attending Stampin' Up!'s OnStage events is seeing the new catalogs and product weeks before the demonstrator pre-order period begins.  And there is a selection of product we can order while we are at the event.

Watch the video below to see some of the what is coming our way in the 2019 Occasions Catalog and the 2019 Sale-A-Bration brochure!  I love how the products coordinate between these two catalogs and the Annual Catalog.

Product List is unavailable at this time.  You will be able to order beginning in January!

Double Embossing Angels on Earth Video Tutorial

Every few months our team does a SWAP.  I decided to use Angels On Earth.  I love Shabby Chic and Victorian style cards.  I had a lot of questions from my team about how I made the background so decided to post a video.  The double embossing refers to using an embossing folder on a piece of cardstock, then heat embossing on it.  It is easy, and I think really enhances the vintage look, especially using the Tin Tile Dynamic Embossing Folder.

If you are a fan of this look, the Angels on Earth is a great stamp set.  I mention in my video that this is a one season stamp set.  But I think this set can be used for other occasions if paired with sentiments from another stamp set.
