Stampin' Up! Toile Christmas

I received  this swap card from Melody Lampert, from Monticello IL.  The cardinal and leaves are from the Toile Christmas suite.  I like how she stacked the designer series paper, leaves, bird and greeting.  Nice card!

Stampin' Up! Tidings All Around

My mother is Italian.  And my mother is an artist.  While she doesn't paint anymore, my house is filled with her beautiful paintings.  In 1970, she painted a town in Italy called Torricella Peligna in the Abruzzi region for her father.

She wanted to send a Christmas Card with a photo of the painting to her Italian cousins.  A year or so ago, my daughter found this Buon Natale stamp for her.

I made this gate fold card for her and we adhered the photo on the inside.

Stampin' Up! Toile Tidings

I received this Toile Tidings designer series paper from the upcoming Holiday catalog on our cruise.  The interesting thing about this pack is that the flip side of each sheet is the same image but in Real Red,  This suite has some Garden Green ribbon which I would have loved when making this card!  I'll have to add some when I finally get it!
